The Buck Roar is the most effective deer call since "THE CAN". The "Roar" sounds like a deep, resonating growl that is made by aggressive bucks during the rut. Bucks make this "Roaring" sound when their testosterone levels are through the roof. Whether the rut is in full swing or just beginning, bucks will make the "Roar" when they are trying to get an Estrus doe to stop or warn other bucks to get away from a 'hot' doe. The Buck Roar is made from rubber so that it makes no sound if you happen to bump it on something while you are in your deer stand. In addition to making the 'Roaring' sound bucks make during the rut, this call also make perfect grunts and the snort-wheeze. This call also comes with a 30 minute instructional mini DVD.

  • Includes instructional mini DVD
  • Strap for mounting to your wrist or arm
  • Makes perfect grunts
  • Snort-Wheeze. The Snort-Wheeze is mounted to the top of the call and is low profile but is LOUD.
  • Compass

  1. Typical Primos Quality

Posted by Unknown on 21st Aug 2014

I'm very happy with the Buck Roar. I have many Primos calls and they all work well, eg, predator, turkey, and deer (can). I expect no less with this call. It is simple, realistic, and convenient. I look forward to the rut and bow season!

  2. Best Grunt Call

Posted by Moe on 14th Aug 2014

This is actually the third Primos "Buck Roar" call I have purchased that is how much I like them.
I like this call because it makes realistic grunts and can also be blown loud. On those days where there is a little wind or if a buck is passing out of shooting range you can get his attention.
I like the wrist strap feature it keeps the call handy and ready at a moments notice.
My hunting partner watched 5 bucks fighting last season and they were all making the "roar" vocalization which this call also reproduces.
This is a great call and I do not go into the woods without it !

  3. Sounds good!

Call sounds good. Can't wait to try it! Too bad I have to wait 7 months.
