This is truly lightweight protection. I didn't purchase it for use around hazardous particles or splashes. I wanted it for quick and easy rain protection. It is very comfortable to wear. It breathes well. I love the pullover style. It also packs down very small. I would recommended it for anyone wanting to have handy rain protection around.
