The Single Spruce elk diaphragm call by Knight & Hale features a rougher tape and thinner latex to provide better stability in the mouth and as easier "break" from low to high notes. This makes the Single Spruce elk diaphragm the easiest-to-use elk mouth call on the market. This is a great call for close-in calling (perfect for bowhunters), but is capable of producing medium volume for bulls that are a little ways "out there". The Single Spruce accurately reproduces the sounds of an elk cow or calf.
