Rubber cup to prevent dirt is good, the string that came with it is quite small and I would not trust it on my rifle. Not real easy to use in the dark, I would suggest putting on at home/in the truck and then just clip it to the pull rope.

This has to be the best way I have ever seen to pull your gun up to you in a tree stand.Great for the young hunter just going out on his or her own. all accidents can be prevented, and this will definably help the cause
