The HME Hunters / Bowhunters Hand Saw has a 10" carbon steel blade that is super sharp and aggressively cuts on each pull and stroke. The pistol grip handle helps prevent accidental slippage. Scabbard (included) has a belt loop for safe storage and transport.

    A great little hand saw for a very nice price. Bought some a few months ago and bought some more last week. They make a nice gift, or a handy tool to have around the house.

    I saw other reviews about it being too big to carry on your belt which is probably true, but knowing that it isn't a folding saw, I felt it worked better than expected. I like the fact that the handle has a strong curve at the back to prevent your hand from slipping off and the main cut is on the pull stroke which is nice when you're up in a stand.

    About what you would expect for a economy priced saw. Decent quality, sharp on delivery, and cut well. Add to that the very nice Wing Supply pricing and you have a saw worth the money!

    I use a saw like this whenever I'm in the woods, it's always good to have. Clearing shooting lanes. felling trees or just maintaining the property. Lost one with a green handle, the orange handle will prevent that. My only critisisim is that the blade is a bit too agressive, but better that than the alternative.

    Scabbard was cracked upon receiving, no big deal. Blade cuts great but impractical to strap to your belt due to length. I'll stick to the folding saws for in the woods, hung this one in my garage to use around the house.
