  1. Good waders for the $$$

Posted by Patrick Darby on 20th Nov 2013

I got these a week or so ago for Duck hunting. I think they are going to work great. I am taller and lanky so it seems the cut is made for longer people. They are a little big in the midsection, but that allows more comfort when you bend over for decoys or are sitting. It also gives room for your underclothes. I would say these are better for taller, longer folks and that makes them great for my body type. Cheers.

  2. The perfect 1st set of waders

These waders are pretty much the best neoprene waders you can get for the money. They are well constructed, have handwarmer pockets, and D-rings so you can accessorize and be the coolest cat in the blind.

I bought these to use in November in Michigan and stayed warm without getting soggy like with 5mm waders in the same conditions. The boot-sizing was right on, though they were a little long, in my opinion. I am 5'9", 185lbs and the inseam in the size 10's is 39", which is about 7" too long for me. The rest of the fit was perfect though: tight enough to not get in the way, but with enough room to get to pockets inside easily and to pull down when I needed to take a leak.

Also, the velcro "buckles" are surprisingly strong and don't interfere when shouldering your gun.

I've only hunted with these once so far, and theses waders seem great. Shipping was quick and easy. They fit a little big in the mid section.
