Boots lack aggressive lug sole. They have the imprint, but no depth. Almost like they figured cleats would gum up with mud and be slippery anyways. They're fine on flat ground, but difficult on slick levees. Overall, great waders though.

I've duck hunted in AR for 25 years. I've had LaCrosse, Hodgman, Itasca, you name it... They all make a great upper, but the boots dry rot in 2 or 3 years. This is my second season with the Frogg Toggs and they are just made with better material. I hope they don't change a thing.
