When designing the DLC Covert MP6 Scouting Trail Camera Covert had one thing in mind: build a capable camera for a low cost! They accomplished this by including several key components and features from their top shelf cameras while taking away some of the frills to cut cost. Notice that they didn't take away quality that run manufacturing cost up. Today's trail camera consumer is bombarded with fancy features and options that normally don't add up to function and value. It's become common place for companies to make claims but never back them up.
The DLC Covert MP6 Scouting Trail Camera makes one claim: MORE BANG for the BUCK! With all the function and features included, it's easy to back up that claim.

I purchased this game camera after using another company's product. I am very impressed with the camera. Used it 2 weeks so far and it has given me very good day and night photographs. Easy to use, set up, and takes photos from at least 25 feet away.

I have used a variety of trail cams from various manufacturers over the last 13 years, always in search of quality and value. I found the Covert brand 3 years ago and own cameras in all three levels they offer. The MP6 has become the only camera I buy. I now own 10 of this model. The price is excellent, quality of the pictures, both day and night, gets me the information I need with clear pictures and good response time. As a teenager today would say, the battery life is "sick!" One set of alkaline batteries gets me up to 5,000 pictures and normally only need to be replaced once per season. Really easy to set up with a variety of settings, no moisture intrusion issues(really important in N Florida!). Excellent customer support from Covert when I need it. Still using the original MP6 I bought 3 years ago. You can trust this camera!!!

This little camera is the best. I have about 10 of these and they are the right size, and very easy to operate. I have never had a problem with them and Covert customer service is the best in case I do. You can't go wrong with this camera. The images are super clear and the sensor works out to around 40'. For 1.2 seconds trigger speed it is not bad. Never miss a deer before. (But I do position them correctly.) I have been using trail cameras since they was the 35 MM style and I will never by another brand of trial camera than Covert. I live in Kentucky and do business with Kentucky companies.

I recently purchased 2 of these cameras without knowing any of the specs. I was very pleased to see the size of the camera being very small. It also has a fast shutter speed and doesn't seem to disturb the animals. Works much better than other cameras I had purchased in the past.

I've tried trail cams from quite a few company's now and I believe coverts to be one of the best and definitely above average for the price. Picture quality is great but the thing I like most about it is that it doesn't seem to miss any animals. I've done side by side tests with several other brands and most time it had at least double the amount of pics and fewer false triggers with nothing in them. The small size of this cam makes it easy to hide wich is a plus for me as all my cams are on public land. I now own 5 coverts and will buying more soon. Highly recommend

This little camera is great easy to set up. The Covert is great right out of the box. Batteries and a SD card and your taking pics. I am thinking about getting a couple more. Video is stellar or it is as good as I need.

Got my MP6 right after the new year and have been impressed so far. Takes great day time pics and moving night time pics are only slightly blurred. No issues with leaks and such, seems completely weatherproof. Flash range is great at night, especially if you have the luxury of a backdrop for it to illuminate. Ease of operation is superb. Video I have collected so far is just ok, but its hard to get great video with any trailcam. After getting over 500pics and 5 minutes of video, battery bar on screen indicates still being full. I did get some but very, very few "empty" pics where camera seemingly shoots at nothing.
No true downsides, althought the detection range seems to not be as far as the flash range as advertised. This may not be the case, only a little more time and more pics will tell. You can review photos with the onboard viewer, but screen is so tiny most pics of game at much distance is impossible to differentiate. Not really impressed with the attachment strap although it serves its purpose, but have seen better.
Will be purchasing several more of these over the next year, especially if I can find them for the price I got my first one for from Wing Supply.

Got two of these on Black Friday and LOVE THEM! They are easy to set up, take great shots and are easy on the batteries - through 100s of shots each night since setting them up. Incidentally, I do have another in the DLC from their product line which is an upgrade and is also superb, but that doesn't diminish this little gem. Other engineered strap are a bit faster to attach, but they cinch tight, and with the "bear boxes" also available through Wings, you'll need a cable lock anyway. Wish that they could handle more than 8 GB cards, as the pix add up fast! The folks here at Wings also do well with your orders.
