Developed in cooperation with the U.S. Military, government agencies, universities, and others; this Sawyer Clothing repellent offers superior protection from disease-carrying biting insects. The active ingredient, Permethrin, is a synthetic molecule similar to those found in natural pyrethrum which is taken from the Chrysanthemum flower. Not only does this product repel insect, but will actually kill ticks, mosquitoes, chiggers, mites and more than 55 other kinds of insects. Sawyer Permethrin insect repellents are for use with clothing, tents, and other gear. A single application lasts 6 washings. Permethrin is odorless when dry, and during the drying process, it tightly bonds with the fibers of the treated garmet. It will not stain or damage clothing, fabrics, plastics, finished surfaces, or any of your outdoor gear. 9oz aerosol can.

    I've used several other brands but nothing works on ticks like the Sawyers brand I will not used anything else

    SE Alabama belongs to mosquito's...went out to scout last week..sprayed down my clothing the night before..I was amazed at how I had little to no mosquito problems..despite fact I was in lowland, swampy area. This product worth every cent. Make sure yo spray your gear down one to two days before hunting, not day of...it does have an odor, but if done days before using, leave outside...works great and odor doesnt make it as issue.

    I've been using this in the turkey woods for 5 years now. Not one tick or chigger since using it and I am a chigger magnet. I don't believe it's odorless when dry, so I don't use it during archery deer season, why take chances since I'm up in a tree and not sitting on the ground.

    Used this in Texas on my second turkey hunting trip, after having to pick ticks off constantly on my first one. Not ONE tick did I get, while my buddy had the same problem we had on our first hunt. Can't say enough for this product!

    I'VE USED THIS SPRAY FOR YEARS, IT HAS NEVER FAILED TO KEEP THE TICKS & CHIGGERS OFF. I HUNT, DO MY OWN HAY FOR MY HORSES & COWS. IT NEVER FAILS THAT YOU WILL HAVE REPAIRS IN THE FIELD, LAYING IN THE GRASS, THEY CRAWL ON & JUMP OFF. LOVE THE STUFF!!!!

    This stuff works. I always spray down my clothes as directed on the can prior to spring seasons. Properly done this stuff lasts about a month. Last turkey season I watched for two minutes an agitated tick on my pants desperately try to climb OFF my leg. I picked him off with my pocket knife and he then calmed down. I rely on the stuff.
