Returning WWII G.I.s may have started the chino revolution, but these sturdy, reliable trousers have a military history that goes back a century earlier. British troops in India and Afghanistan adopted the khaki-colored cotton twill trousers as more suitable wear than the bright white pants they were issued. Like the original chinos, ours are pure cotton twill, a comfortable mid-weight 8.5 ounces. Like true chinos, they have angled front pockets that lay flat, single welt back pockets, and a button front with hook & eye closure. Some features you won’t find on a 19th Century pair of Men's pants: a custom herringbone 1816 inner waist tape and the custom 1816 faux horn buttons. The double-needle stitching, perhaps. You can be assured, however, that these comfortable, hardwearing trousers will quickly work themselves into a preferred position in your rotation, where they’ll happily remain for years to come. Imported. Khaki. Even waist sizes 32-44; inseam: 30/32/34/36. #721326. (show less)
