Brassicas and Triticale

I plowed, disced, and fertilized with triple 12. I did not lime but will this spring. The braccicas, wheat, and oats came up great and grew. The deer did not touch it until after about 5 frosts. After the frosts, the deer absolutely eat it up. It looked like they had hit it with a mower.
